Young love just makes my heart swoon. Especially when it’s between high school sweethearts like Kara and Kevin! It’s been seven years since these two were smitten teenagers roaming the halls hand in hand and now they’ve decided to spend the rest of their lives together.
The week leading up to their engagement session we were all a little concerned about the weather. With a 70% chance of rain I was almost sure we would have to reschedule! But the day before the forecast changed and gave us the perfect window of clear weather. The ground was a little soft (okay, a lot) and my shoes unfortunately did not survive, but it was completely worth it to hang out with these two! We laughed and talked about the adventures of love and marriage, I slid through the mud a bit (totally unplanned, but not out of character) and just had a great time together exploring the park!
Below are some of my favorites from their session! I always do a little happy dance when I get to shoot at Fontainebleau and those mossy oaks are 95% responsible for it.
Congratulations Kara and Kevin! I’m beyond excited for your special day in April!
