High school sweethearts Cassandra and Shane were joined by their closest friends and family at the beautiful Maison Lafitte for their intimate wedding. It was a complete joy-filled occasion with so many sentimental moments scattered throughout the day! From the thoughtful gifts exchanged between the two of them, to the emotional speech that the matron of honor surprised the couple with, it was hard to keep your eyes dry during the whole day! Maison Lafitte was the perfect backdrop for this burgundy and blush wedding and I’m already looking forward to the next time I get to step foot in this beautiful venue!
Shane surprised Cassandra with a book of their love story. Her mother in law made sure to set the moment with their favorite song playing in the background as she tearfully read through the story of them!
Their daughter, Chaelynn, stayed by mom’s side the entire day. She beamed with joy as Cassandra got ready for one of the biggest moments of her life!
One of my favorite moments captured from the day. Chaelynn and Cassandra have a bond that was just a joy to witness!
The architecture was adorned with beautiful flowers from Westbank Florist and candles provided by Michele with Decor on a Dime. The combination made for a swoon-worthy spot to become husband and wife!
Shane’s reaction to seeing his bride for the first time just gives me goosebumps. Look at the awe on his face!
They giggled through their personal vows and we all watched in amazement as they shared the story of what brought them to that very moment and the promises they hold for the future.
And as the two went off to enjoy a quiet sweetheart meal, the party began downstairs in the beautiful reception space of Maison Lafitte!
How cute is this wine truck?!
On top of being a Cardiac Care Unit nurse, Cassandra also does calligraphy on the side! I have no idea where she found the time but she hand-lettered all the decor for her wedding and it was just the perfect touch to her special day!
After all the dances and cutting of that delicious cake, Courtney surprised us all with a touching speech. And shoutout to the staff of Maison Lafitte for filling me on this sweet surprise so I could capture those tear-filled reactions.
I can’t wait for Viktoria’s wedding this coming November! It truly is the highest compliment when my brides refer me to their friends and family and I’m so honored to call these two sweet girls #ashleykbrides!
Lane Spears killed this live painting! If this had been a thing when I was getting married I definitely would’ve splurged on it!
After all the tears were shed and laughs were shared we moved on to the dancing. This group truly knew how to have a good time!
They ended the night with a sparkler exit and ride off to their honeymoon suite in a beautiful Rolls Royce.
Congratulations Cassandra and Shane! It was truly an honor capturing the start of forever for your beautiful family! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for the three of you!
