Sarah and Scott’s chilly New Orleans wedding at the historic Race and Religious was nothing short of spectacular. The venue, with its timeless architecture and charming courtyard, provided a picturesque backdrop for their special day. Despite the chill in the air, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with the couple exchanging vows surrounded by the rich history of the city. Sarah beamed in her Pronovias dress while Scott looked on lovingly at his beautiful bride!
Following the heartfelt ceremony, the celebration continued at the iconic Napoleon House for the reception. The venue’s old-world charm set the stage for an unforgettable evening. Entertaining music filled the air, ensuring that the dance floor was never empty. The lively tunes, ranging from jazz to contemporary hits, catered to the diverse tastes of the guests, creating an atmosphere of joy and celebration. A fun champagne tower stood as a centerpiece, adding a touch of glamour to the festivities, as glasses clinked in toasts to the newlyweds. The oyster bar, a nod to one of our culinary delights, added a touch of local flavor, delighting guests with freshly shucked Gulf oysters, perfectly complemented by zesty mignonette sauces.
The highlight of this New Orleans wedding came with the festive second line, a tradition that brought an extra burst of energy to the celebration. Guests joyfully paraded through the streets, waving umbrellas and dancing to the lively brass band. The vibrant procession encapsulated the spirit of the city and left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who attended. Sarah and Scott, surrounded by the love and warmth of their friends and family, celebrated a wedding day filled with cherished moments.
I always love when the timeline allows for photos of the groom’s details. They add so much to the story!
