There’s a reason photographers love the golden hour. It’s absolutely GORGEOUS and is the best lighting for any type of session. And when you add in the swaying mossy trees of Fontainebleau State Park, the combination is perfect! So when Suzette and I were discussing time and location for their engagement session I was so excited she picked FSP at sunset!
Carey and Suzette are one of the sweetest couples I’ve had the pleasure of working with! They met 3 years ago and it was an instant connection. Once Carey decided he was ready to make Suzette his bride, he planned out the proposal. There’s a pretty popular country song called “Greatest Love Story.” It’s by Landco and it’s one of my all time favorites! Well Carey rewrote the lyrics to match their own love story, had his friend play it for them and at the end he got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife. Are you swooning? I know I am!
Below are some of my favorites from the session!
Look at that bling! Great job Carey!
At the end of the session, they sat and just enjoyed the sun setting over Lake Pontchartrain. It was truly a romantic way to end a photo shoot!
Congratulations, Carey and Suzette! I’m so happy I got to meet you guys and document this special time in your lives and I can’t wait to capture your wedding next month!
