Hey y’all! It’s been quite a while since my last blog post but I’m so excited to share my first post of the year! Bettie & Clay: what a pair of sweethearts! Their Our Lady of Peace church wedding was filled with so much joy and beauty! The look on Clay’s face as Bettie made her way up the aisle was just priceless! You could just see his eyes reflecting the love he felt for her in his heart.
The day started at Clay’s sister’s house with all the girls getting their hair and makeup down. Aimee’s estate was the perfect backdrop for all the ladies to gather! The lighting was phenomenal and the house is just gorgeous! And it was literally only steps away from the church!
I was truly blown away by all the thought and detail Bettie put into her wedding. The whole soiree was filled with sentimental pieces from the peonies in her bouquet down to the scent she chose to wear, honoring her late aunt who wanted to attend this beautiful day. She was truly there in spirit!
Towards the end of the reception we ran back out for a few more portraits at an old abandoned home close by. It was the perfect end to a beautiful day!
Congratulations, Bettie and Clay! Your day was one for the books and I’m forever honored and grateful you chose me to document it!
