When I first spoke to Amber it was only 3 days before her and Brandon’s ceremony. They spontaneously decided they wanted to get married in good ole New Orleans on Labor Day weekend and I loved everything she was telling me! That their colors were all shades red, they adored the candid moments and they wanted their session to be sweet and snuggly. I am ALL for sweet and snuggly portraits! So when the big day arrived we met in City Park and they professed their love for one another on Langles Bridge. It’s such a romantic spot to get married! The moss is swaying above and the creek is bubbling below. Tears of joy were shed as vows were lovingly spoken to each other and for a moment I just had to take it all in! It was such a serene moment.
Congratulations, Amber and Brandon! I am so honored I got to capture your romantic elopement! It was such a pleasure to be there at the beginning of your marriage!
After being pronounced husband and wife they immediately twirled. It made my heart skip a beat! We set off to explore the park for their portrait session and capture some of those oh so romantic snuggles.
I absolutely adore the candid moments. I try my hardest to pose my clients in a very natural manner but these two didn’t even need to be posed! They exuded joy and would burst into dance without a moments notice!
Can you believe this bouquet was made by H-E-B’s floral department the day before?! Their florist has some serious talent!
The sense of humor these two have. They kept me laughing the entire time!
We finished the session at the very bridge they became husband and wife only one hour earlier. It couldn’t have been more romantic!
