Wedding season is in full swing and I love it! Every ceremony I get to capture makes my heart swoon, but Carey and Suzette’s had me in tears multiple times during the day! Every last detail was so sentimental from her bouquet, to Carey’s letter at the ceremony and the second line in honor of his father. My heart just couldn’t handle all the emotion!

So we started the day with the girls at the hotel where they were getting ready. It’s always a riot when a bride and her closest friends get together! We joked, we laughed and we even cried a little bit when Carey’s daughter held Suzette’s hand. And after everyone was ready we headed to the ceremony, which the happy couple kept short and sweet but still filled with sentimental moments. And the reception! You guys. Carey and Suzette KNOW how to throw a party! I can honestly say I have never danced as much as I did that night!

It was all truly a blast and I’m so happy I got to capture it. You can see my favorites from the day below!

Suzette’s bridal details were gorgeous! They all just coordinated so beautifully!

One of my all-time favorite moments: Carey’s daughter helping her soon-to-be bonus momma get ready. Everyone was near tears!

SO funny! During their engagement session Carey jokingly nudged Suzette in the lake. I think she’ll be happy to see his guys got him back for that!

Suzette and Carey opted for a first look which made me SO happy. I love love love first looks and I think just about every photographer agrees with me.

Look at that reaction to seeing his beautiful bride!

Suzette’s bouquet had a sweet tribute to her late father-in-law.

Their bridal party consisted of Carey’s sons and daughter, Suzette’s son, and her two closest friends. I couldn’t think of a better group of people to have in your wedding!

Suzette made her way down the aisle and stopped to give a kiss for her soon-to-be mother-in-law and we all just loved it!

I love these two. They can go from crying to full-laughter at the drop of a hat.

After the ceremony these two love birds hopped in the back of a beautiful Rolls Royce for the drive across the property to their reception. Amazing food and entertainment awaited us all!

After Carey and Suzette danced with each other and their children, they did a second-line in honor of Carey’s father who passed away only the week before. He had a large collection of handkerchiefs so every guest got one and got to moving!

Even Carey’s mom, affectionately known as Maw Maw, started dancing. At the end she gave a touching speech about her late husband and how she was so happy she could do this in his honor. There wasn’t a dry eye on that dance floor!

Ya’ll. This cake was AMAZING. Suzette and Carey had a family friend make it and they did a phenomenal job!

One of my favorite things to do at a wedding is get a snap with my bride and groom! Thank you so much, Jessica, for capturing this! I also like to add some personality at the end of the night. See my amazing dancing skills with a guest below.

At the end all of us had to join in! The entertainment was just perfect and the music never stopped!

Congratulations, Carey and Suzette! Your day was absolutely perfect and it was such an honor serving you two! Wishing you guys a lifetime of love, happiness and never-ending jokes!
